For over 40 years, Scott has specialized in retirement planconsulting, plan design, plan communications, and asset management services pertaining to tax qualified and non-qualified retirement plans.

From 1979 to 1989 Scott was a principal and officer to Paul A. Tanker & Associates, one of Philadelphia's foremost penion and benefit firms with over 850 retirement plans and 55 employees. In 1993, founded his own firm, Tanker & Associates, Inc., and in 1999, he sold his company with over 250 plans to Century Business Services (CBIZ). Scott left CBIZ in 2004, and in 2005 founded Tanker Consulting Group, LLC.

Scott's Experience as a retirement and benefit plan consultant gives him the background necessary to counsel corporate decision markers on all facets of retirement plan design and installation, plan compliance, fiduciary duties, communications, adminstration, and record keeping. With a special expertise in retirement plan design and communication; he has helped hundreds of companies implement successful retirement programs.

Scott received a B.S.B.A. in finance from the Uiversity of Denver in 1978. He continued has education at the American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, where he completed the Advanced Penion Planning course. (1980) and achieved the designations of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) in 1984, and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) in 1986. He has had a AIFA desgnation for Fiduciary compliance practices.
